Grace is often preached as vibrant, overwhelming, and unstoppable, and rightly so. Yet a careful study of Scripture reveals that while grace is indeed powerful, it can be limited in how fruitful it becomes in the life of its recipient.

Subscribe now

Scripture makes this uncomfortable but necessary distinction.

According to Hebrews 4:2, the same Gospel, the message of grace, produced two very different results in two groups of people. One group heard the message and found no benefit from it, while the other experienced transformation. The difference was not the message itself. The difference was the response. One group mixed what they heard with faith; the other did not.

If grace had no limitations in its operation, then everyone who hears the Gospel would experience identical outcomes. Yet this is clearly not the case. Believers who have all received the same grace through salvation often live vastly different Christian lives.

Why?

While the grace of God that brings salvation has “appeared to all men” (Titus 2:11), not all men walk in the same depth, fruitfulness, or maturity of that grace.

Paul provides insight into this tension in 1 Corinthians 15:10, openly confessing that he is an apostle solely by the grace of God. He did not earn it. He did not qualify for it. He was chosen by divine initiative and even set apart from his mother’s womb (Galatians 1:15).

Yet after establishing that everything he is came by grace, Paul makes a striking statement: “His grace toward me was not in vain.”

That phrase implies that something critical, such as grace, can be in vain.

Paul then explains why grace was not wasted in his life: “I labored more abundantly than they all...” Grace is not opposed to labor. In fact, grace produces labor. One of the clearest proofs that a person has truly received grace is that they embark on labor to make grace not be in vain.

A helpful illustration of grace is the story of a young man who is ready to enter university but is unable to afford the tuition. The institution requires proof of funds before enrollment. Although capable and willing, he simply cannot raise the money his family is financially struggling. His academic future appears closed.

Then, the university administration informs him that an anonymous donor has paid his full tuition for all four years.

Grace has arrived.

He did not earn it. He did not deserve it. He did not even ask for it.

Yet something still remains. The young man must attend classes, study diligently, submit his assignments, and take his exams. The paid tuition does not give him a degree; it gives him access to one. If he refuses to apply himself, skips lectures, or neglects his responsibilities, the grace shown to him will not produce its intended outcome. Although fully paid, the tuition will have been received in vain.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. When it is met with passivity, it remains unfruitful.

Paul therefore warns the Church soberly: “We then, as workers together with Him, plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain” (2 Corinthians 6:1).

This is the picture of many Christians today. Everything has already been paid for, yet many do not know how to work out what grace has provided. We celebrate what God has done, but we fail to live in alignment with it.

Grace must never be celebrated without obedience. It is possible to rejoice in the goodness of God while neglecting the responsibility that grace demands. What God gives freely by grace, He expects man to respond to intentionally by faith.

When grace is met with faith-filled obedience, it produces transformation.
When grace is met with passivity, it remains unfruitful.

S001E8 Can Someone Be Born Gay?// Marvellous Arunda

A Biblical and Scientific Exploration

Marvellous Arunda

In this video, the host addresses the question, 'Can someone be born gay?' and provides a surprising answer: yes. In 2023, Philadelphia saw over 1,400 fatal drug overdoses, the majority involving fentanyl — a drug so powerful it can sedate users to the point of catatonia, leaving them hunched over, motionless, and unaware of their surroundings.
(Source: Philadelphia Department of Public Health)

This image — eerie and tragic — offers a stark parallel to a spiritual condition the Bible repeatedly warns about: being physically alive but spiritually dead. In theological terms, it’s the condition of living "according to the flesh," cut off from the life-giving Spirit of God.

The Zombie Metaphor in Scripture

The New Testament doesn't use the word zombie, of course, but it does speak often of the walking dead. Paul writes in Romans 8:13 (NKJV):

"For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."

The Greek word for "flesh" here is σάρξ (sarx), often referring not merely to the physical body, but to the fallen nature (which is still active in the regenerated man) — the self-centered, God-resistant human condition. In contrast, the life offered by the Spirit is ζωοποιέω (zōopoieō), meaning “to make alive, to quicken,” a verb used in Romans 8:11 to describe the Spirit’s effect on our mortal bodies.

Romans 8:11:
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He… will also give life (zōopoieō) to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

This “newness of life” is a spiritual reality tied to our union with Christ.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. The live of Christ.

John Chrysostom (4th century Church Father) explains:
“We were not merely improved by the resurrection of Christ — we were created anew. Not an old man patched, but a new man born.”

Not Just Connected — Activated

Being connected to the Holy Spirit is like a house wired to the power grid — but still freezing because the power grid has never been utilized. Paul exhorts:

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25

in other words, if we are connected to the power grid, walk in the potential of the power grid.

The verb "walk" here is στοιχέω (stoicheō), meaning “to proceed in order,” suggesting deliberate, habitual, Spirit-governed living.

Similarly, in Romans 8:4, the Spirit-filled life is presented as the fulfillment of the law — not by human effort, but divine enablement.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:4

Paul is highlighting the continuous work of righteousness. We are made righteous through the exchanged life, but we are also called to a walk of righteousness as a way of living our our “Newness of life”

Share

How to walk in the Newness of Life

Just as physical health depends on diet and exercise, spiritual vitality depends on feeding and activating the spirit.

1. Feed the Spirit

The spirit man is fed on the Word of God. Our spirit man must eat the Word Daily to stay robust. A staved spirit man cannot function and lead the whole human in the will of God.

Joshua 1:8 urges meditation on the Word “day and night.”

Daniel 11:32 declares that “the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits.”

A spirit man starved of Scripture cannot sponsor the ways of God. In fact, he becomes a spectator of life, not a participator in divine purpose.

2. Activate the Spirit

Jude 20 and 1 Corinthians 14:4 emphasize praying in the Spirit as a means of edification. The Greek word οἰκοδομέω (oikodomeō) means “to build up like a house.” Prayer, especially in tongues, builds a spiritual infrastructure that can host God’s presence.

“A spiritual Christian is one whose spirit is led by the Spirit of God. Merely having the Spirit is not enough; we must walk in step with Him.” Watchman Nee

A Life That Flows — Not Just Fills

Jesus didn’t just offer containment of life, but flow. In John 7:38, He said:

“He who believes in Me… out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

The Hebrew idea of life (chayim – חַיִּים) is not static. This blog post will explore the concept of spiritual trading, drawing on biblical principles and teachings to help you understand how to engage with God in a way that unlocks His blessings. We will delve into the idea of spiritual trading, its biblical basis, and how to apply these principles daily.

What is Spiritual Trading?

Spiritual trading is a concept that describes the reciprocal exchange between individuals and God, which is rooted in love and guided by spiritual principles. The gospel is expressed in various ways, such as legal terms, sports, marriage, and construction. Understanding these different facets helps us to appreciate the multifaceted nature of our relationship with God.

The issue with a one-sided view of the gospel is that our limited perspective restricts what we can receive. For example, what we gain from God through a relationship as a son may differ from what we receive through a relationship as a servant, co-heir, or even friend. God is too vast for us to rely on just one aspect of our relationship with Him. He is our Father, our Lord, and our Creator. Each of these relationships offers distinct virtues for us to discover.

While many may not see the gospel through trade, it is significant. The Bible contains examples of men doing business with God

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. He stated, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children for the sake of the kingdom of God who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come, eternal life.” When Peter asked about the benefits of leaving everything to follow Jesus, He was not upset; instead, He assured Peter that they would be rewarded both on earth and in heaven. What a trade!

Parable of the Talents (Luke 19:15): The parable of the talents highlights that God expects us to use what He gives us and that He will want to know what we have gained by trading. "And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading."

The Spiritual Realm as a Marketplace

A bustling market within the spirit realm exists where trades are made frequently. Both good and evil are spread in this marketplace through the trade mechanism. The spirit finds a trading partner to gain territory on earth. If the Spirit of God finds Christians ready to trade, He will capture and change our neighborhood. As Christians, we must recognize the reality of spiritual commerce in the spiritual realm and trust God to follow His established rules.

Let me clarify: God made salvation freely available to humanity. We did nothing to deserve Christ’s sacrifice for us. He showed His love by dying for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Salvation and its other virtues are free; however, we must respond in faith to access them. In other words, salvation has been made available to all, but not everyone has received salvation. Faith is the price we pay to receive what grace offers, and faith requires hard work.

Trading is localized in the appropriation of blessings. Conditions are associated with receiving what has been freely given to us by grace. These conditions establish an economy of trade. For example, we have been made rich by the finished work of Christ, but to receive this richness, one must give. The rules are clear: to receive, we must provide, which is the essence of trade.

Thanks for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY! Our love for God does not negate the need to adhere to these spiritual rules and principles. In fact, according to scripture, true love is validated by obedience to God's commandments (John 14:15). When we focus solely on emotional expressions of love, we risk losing in the spiritual arena.

Love as Motivation: Our primary motivation in our relationship with God should be love. As Jesus asked Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” and then instructed him to “Feed My lambs,” this shows that love should be our driving force (John 21:15-17).

Spiritual Laws and Principles: Love motivates us to take steps, but spiritual laws and principles must guide those steps. The love of God does not make us haphazard in our response; there are preordained paths (Ephesians 2:10).

No Freebies: Nothing is given without sacrifice in the spiritual realm. While God's blessings are freely offered, they cannot be possessed without paying a price.

Trade is for Profit: Trade exists primarily for the purpose of profit. The Gospel should benefit us because it was intended for our gain, as stated in Hebrews 4:2. However, this benefit does not come to fruition unless we actively engage with it. We love the Lord, but we also trust His word. He promised that if we do something, He will respond in kind.

Conclusion: Engaging in Spiritual Trade

Spiritual trading is a vital part of our relationship with God. It is a biblically based concept, and we are called to engage in it. By understanding this principle, we can intentionally interact with God, aligning with His divine laws and experiencing the rewards He has promised. Let love be your foundation, but engage in the spiritual marketplace with wisdom, faith, and a heart ready to trade with God.

Give Me Jesus

Jesus is the true image of the Father

Marvellous Arunda

In today's world, many people are fascinated by extraordinary spiritual experiences and encounters with biblical figures or angels. However, it's crucial to remember that our primary focus should always be on Jesus Christ, the true image of the Father.

The Danger of Misplaced Focus

A prophet once told me that the things God reveals to him aren't even found in the Bible. Some prophets claim to have seen Elijah or Moses during their prayers. While these encounters might be genuine, they can distract us from what truly matters. We should be more interested in whether someone has encountered Jesus and how He has transformed their life. We are warned in Colossians 2:18-19 not to let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify us. Such people often go into great detail about what they have seen, but they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body grows as God causes it to grow.

Even Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), so we must be cautious about where we place our focus.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. However, these experiences should not overshadow the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that Jesus is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. When Philip asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus replied, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9).

Magnifying the Holy Spirit

Some individuals magnify their encounters with angels, but we should focus on the Holy Spirit who resides within us. The Holy Spirit is greater than any angel and is our direct connection to God. Jesus promised in John 14:16-17 that the Father would give us another advocate to help us and be with us forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but we know Him, for He lives with us and will be in us. We are God's temple, and His Spirit dwells in our midst (1 Corinthians 3:16).

Share

The Importance of Knowing Jesus

Knowing the name of your angel won't guarantee your place in heaven, but knowing Jesus will. Our salvation and eternal life depend on our relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Acts 4:12 reinforces this by stating, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."

Conclusion

When faced with claims of secret knowledge or extraordinary spiritual experiences, always ask to see Jesus. When Jesus is present in your life, everything else falls into place. Focus on building a relationship with Him and let His presence transform every aspect of your life. Consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord (Philippians 3:8). Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33).

Let us seek Jesus above all else and allow His image to be reflected in our lives.

Feel free to share this blog post to remind others about keeping their focus on Jesus! Ephesians 1:3 proclaims that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Our redemption in Jesus fulfills the legal and spiritual requirements for us to be blessed. Yet, these blessings are accessed and activated through faith. Faith is the hand that gets what God has already given by grace. Without faith, it is impossible to walk into what God has already done and finished through His death and resurrection.

Reflection: Faith is the key that unlocks the treasures of heaven. Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. We must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. But faith operates in levels, each requiring a specific response.

Levels of Faith:

Saving Faith: Saving faith is the foundational level, helping us cross from death to life. This faith is activated by simply saying "Yes" to Jesus. In Acts 2:37-38, we see the crowd responding to Peter’s message with repentance and baptism. Peter’s sermon inspired saving faith in them. They were Jews who had not heard about the finished work of Jesus. This initial step of faith brings us into the family of God. Just as a child is born into a family, so we are born into God’s family through saving faith.

Illustration: Consider a prisoner set free by a pardon. The legal requirement for his freedom is met, but he must step out of the prison gates to experience freedom. Similarly, Jesus' sacrifice meets the legal requirements for our salvation, but we must accept it to live in that freedom.

Walking Faith: Walking faith powers our Christian lifestyle. Our newfound nature in Christ can only be lived out by faith. Through the finished work of Jesus on the cross, all is finished, and the way to walk in what is finished is to walk by faith. Faith behaves what is finished. This level of faith grows as we immerse ourselves in God’s Word and obey it. Romans 10:17 states that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Working Faith: Working faith, or the gift of faith, is a supernatural empowerment by the Holy Spirit, enabling us to do the work of God. 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 describes this gift among the spiritual gifts given to believers. Every intention of God can only be fulfilled by the power of God. No man can do what is in God’s mind without God’s power. When God releases an assignment, He equally releases the power to do it. The Bible states that it is He who works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. This is the faith responsible for signs, wonders, and miracles. This faith comes by prayer and fasting, especially praying in tongues.

Abiding Faith: Abiding faith, also known as the grace of faith, is a deep, sustained faith that comes through a lifestyle of victory. It’s the peace and confidence that Jesus exhibited when He slept in the boat during the storm (Mark 4:38). This faith results in a state of Shalom, a system of sustained triumph. The grace of faith helps us dwell in victory no matter what is happening. It is the faith that says it is well. In the midst of turmoil and waves of evil, it keeps calm. It is immovable in the face of destruction.

Consider the lives of early Christian martyrs. Despite facing severe persecution, they exhibited abiding faith, remaining steadfast and peaceful even in the face of death. Their unwavering faith was a testament to their deep, abiding relationship with God.

Application: To possess your possessions in Christ, identify which level of faith you are currently operating in and seek to grow. Engage with God's Word, be obedient, take bold steps as the Spirit leads, and cultivate a lifestyle of continuous victory through abiding faith. Faith is the cornerstone of the Christian lifestyle. You cannot walk in what God has already possessed for you if you do not have faith.

Prayer: Lord, take me through the journeys that grow my faith. Lord, help me renew my mind to my newfound nature in Christ. Lord, I repent for unbelief and I ask You to strengthen me in my faith journey. Amen.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. Our journey is one of sacrifice and service, a journey where we become libations poured out for God's purposes.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. He saw his life as a drink offering, poured out in service to the faith of others. This imagery is powerful. In ancient times, a drink offering was a precious libation poured on an altar, symbolizing the giver's devotion. Similarly, we are called to spend our lives to gain souls in the Spirit, just as Jesus poured His life to bring salvation.

1 John 3:16 teaches us the essence of love: Christ laid down His life for us, and we are to lay down our lives for our brethren. This call to sacrificial love is echoed in John 15:12-13, where Jesus commands us to love one another as He has loved us, even to the point of laying down our lives.

People are waiting for the touch of Christ through our lives. Our existence finds true meaning only when it is spent for the Gospel. As Paul declares in Philippians 1:21, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Every moment lived for Christ is a step towards eternal gain.

Paul's dedication is further emphasized in Acts 20:24, where he speaks of his unwavering commitment to the ministry he received from the Lord Jesus. He did not count his life dear to himself, but lived to testify to the Gospel of God’s grace.

Consecration Through Prayer and Fasting: To be effective vessels, we must consecrate ourselves through prayer and fasting. Romans 12:1 urges us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God. This is our reasonable service.

Subscribe now

God only saturates the separated. When our flesh is too active, the flow of the Spirit is hindered. Biblical fasting, abstaining from food to weaken carnal desires and indulging in prayer and the Word, strengthens our spiritual experiences. Through this labor in the Spirit, nations, families, and individuals are impacted.

Examples of Devotion: Consider the examples of Moses, who fasted and prayed to receive the Ten Commandments; Prophetess Hannah, who served in the temple with fasting and prayers; and Esther, who called for a fast to save her people. Their lives were marked by deep consecration, leading to mighty works of God.

Application: Reflect on how you can pour out your life for the sake of the Gospel. Are you willing to lay down your desires, to be a living sacrifice? Commit to regular times of prayer and fasting, seeking God’s strength to fulfill your calling.

Prayer: Lord, we offer our lives as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You. From the time of Abraham and Sarah, God has been grafting people from all nations into His holy family.

Reflection:

God’s choice of Abraham, originally from Ur of the Chaldeans, marks the beginning of this divine adoption. As Nehemiah 9:7 reminds us, God brought Abraham out of his native land and gave him a new identity, symbolizing the spiritual transformation that would extend to all believers.

Ezekiel 16:3 further illustrates this transformation, depicting Israel’s origins in a spiritually desolate place. Despite this, God chose Israel, showing that He can make a holy nation out of a people with anti-God origins. Just as Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness (Galatians 3:8), our faith in Christ transforms us and makes us children of God.

Spiritual Umbilical Cord:

In Ezekiel 16:4-6, God speaks of cutting the spiritual umbilical cord that tied Israel to its past. This severance was essential for their new life. Similarly, our salvation in Christ breaks the spiritual ties to our past and makes us new creations, as affirmed in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:15.

Warning Against Reattachment:

While salvation grants us a new beginning, our actions can reattach us to our past sins. Ezekiel 16:15-23 warns against falling back into old ways. Despite the new life God offers, sin can create pathways for curses to reconnect.

Application:

Reflect on your spiritual journey. Are there habits or actions that might reattach you to past sins? Remember that God’s grace is sufficient to keep you free from these spiritual entanglements. Trust in His power to continually renew and transform you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for adopting us into Your family and making us new creations in Christ. Help us to remain free from the sins of our past and to live fully in the new life You have given us. Strengthen our faith and guide our actions so that we may always walk in Your goodness. A quick poll of how many Christians actually pray reveals a significant gap in the practice of this spiritual discipline. It is interesting how highly valued this spiritual activity is in Christianity, despite the fact that few Christians engage in it.

No one can live their Christian life without prayer; it is nearly impossible to conduct spiritual affairs without the assistance of the Holy Spirit. Our Christianity is fueled by God's Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and no Christian spiritual discipline can be accomplished via the strength of our flesh. This is the primary reason why many Christians do not pray.

Prayer is powered by the Spirit of Prayer, the Holy Spirit.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26

This passage makes a very straightforward admission: we are weak in prayer and need assistance. One of the flaws, as stated in the passage above, is our limited knowledge of what to pray for. This is why individuals frequently pray a miss: we lack enough understanding when we pray. A praying Christian is a blessed Christian. Prayer is a discipline, yet unlike other disciplines, it is powered by the Holy Spirit. If we are to pray constantly, we must rely on the ever-helpful power of the Holy Spirit.

Call to Prayer

Exploring the demands of prayer and what God requires from us may be a surprising experience. After all, the bar is set pretty high.

“…Men always ought to pray…” Luke 18:1

“pray without ceasing”. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

How can we feasibly execute the command to pray without ceasing/always? It might be difficult to keep up with prayer appointments when life is so demanding.

Jesus himself experienced this struggle. In his final moments before being crucified, Jesus led two of his closest followers to the prayer chamber on the Mount of Olives. After an hour, he returned to find them sleeping. In Matthew 26:40-41, Jesus grieved, "What, could you not watch with Me one hour? The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Jesus realized that his followers' lack of prayer could not be rectified in any other manner since it was the result of their human weakness. He confessed that the flesh is weak and unable to sustain a prayer life.

Thank you for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY. While many people are familiar with the Doctrine of Prayer, few actually grasp the Spirit of Prayer. The Holy Spirit manifests in numerous ways. He is the Spirit of "I AM THAT I AM". This means He can manifest the Father's many qualities. If we want strength, we can activate the manifestation of strength called as the Spirit of Might. Similarly, if we desire wisdom, we can invoke the Spirit of Wisdom, and so on.

The Spirit of Prayer is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit that enables us to pray.

“…the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Romans 8:26

The Holy Spirit is a Praying Spirit, and without Him, we would not have the audacity to call on God our Father with confidence during prayer.

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’” Romans 8:15

“the Spirit of grace and supplication.” Zecharia 12:10

Through the Spirit of Prayer, we can access the power of God and experience His grace and mercy.

How to engage the Spirit of Prayer

The Holy Spirit is a King Spirit, He has a will and He only gets involved in situations where His will is fully expressed. The first step to engaging the Spirit of Prayer is to reconcile your will with His. He will not help you to pray your will. So, the first Prayer journey you get into is to pray for His desires. You do this by staying in the prayer room long enough until His desires become your desires.

The apostle Paul calls this process dying to self.

“Bringing our body as a living sacrifice…” Romans 12:1.

This is a daily walk. We die Daily. The fleshly desire you died to yesterday still has the potential of resurrecting today, so we die daily. This is why it is important to start your morning with a devotional and prayer. It is an effort to capture the mind of God concerning the day and taming your desires for the Day. Your desires are not eternal only His. We must strive to do things of eternal value.

How to Pray the Will of the Holy Spirit

Begin with a firm commitment to prayer, a resolve that is powered by an act of the will. However, relying solely on this commitment will not take you far. Your commitment should create a deep longing for the Holy Spirit to enter your prayer room and begin the purging process. Anything that you depend on will be removed, and the longer you cling to your dependencies, the longer you will remain in this stage. Ask the Holy Spirit in prayer to help you rely on Him. He provides the power and the ability, for it is He who works in us both to will and to do according to His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13.

Prayer is a powerful tool, and when you make a commitment to it, you open yourself up to the purifying work of the Holy Spirit. As you surrender your dependencies, you will be filled with the strength and capability to do God’s will. Invite the Holy Spirit into your prayer room and allow Him to work in you, so that you can experience the joy of fulfilling His good pleasure.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. His will comes with His burdens, and it is this burden that keeps us in the prayer room, burdening us to pray for long periods of time. Without this burden, our prayers would be short and meaningless.

When we look at the situation on the Mount of Olives, we can see that the disciples did not have the same burden as our Lord Jesus Christ. Consequently, they were unable to stay in prayer for long. Jesus went to the prayer room three times, each time for an hour. Something was compelling Him to stay in the prayer room. It was the burdens. May you receive His burdens for prayer.

Conclusion

Prayer is only effective when we align our requests with the heart of God. He will not support our own will, but rather, He will only get involved when His will takes precedence. A successful prayer life is one that meets this fundamental requirement. God is looking for someone to partner with Him to bring His will to pass here on earth. The ideal candidate is the one who makes a commitment to pray and then relinquishes their own will in favor of God’s. Jesus at Gethsemane had a desire not to go through the Cross, yet He stayed in the prayer room long enough until He came to a place where He declared, “Thy will be done, not mine.” This is the foundation of an effective prayer life.

Listen to the full Sermon👇🏾.

The Spirituality of Self-Mortification, Death to Self.

Understanding why discipleship is pegged on our ability to subjugate our "Self"

Marvellous Arunda

Most Christians, in my observation, have trouble walking in the newness of life (Romans 6:4). It is a matter of nature, not nurture, that presents the challenge of nominal Christianity. That is, rather than confronting the fundamental root cause of the difficulty in leading a deeply Christian lifestyle, the majority of us are attempting to treat its symptoms.

There is no way a vibrant Christian life can be achieved with a vibrant “self” life.

There is no way a vibrant Christian life can be achieved with a vibrant “self” life. You have to mortify “self.” Your Christian life will be contested as long as "self" is still alive. Self will try valiantly to keep you from following Jesus and living out Christianity.

Christian lifestyle is Spelled as D.E.A.T.H

A Christian's way of life is spelled D.E.A.T.H., implying that in order to live out what God has done in you, you must focus more on “dying” than “living.” Letting go of your own image brings you closer to the image of Christ. The inner man must submit to Jesus Christ, the Inner Man. Note what The Lord Jesus says in this Scripture.

And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:27

Whoa! Did you note that Jesus said “cannot?” How come? What an admission: A Christian lifestyle or discipleship without death to "self" is untenable. He made no mention of trying to walk as a Christian by doing the right thing. The majority of ministers will push you to try this or that or adjust this or that to be a good disciple of Jesus. Jesus attributes the death of "self" to a healthy Christian lifestyle.

Thank you for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY. The rise in popularity of self-driving, or autonomous, vehicles serves as a great illustration. Therefore, "self" is what God has given you, enabling you to live the life you want and pursue your dreams.

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Deuteronomy 30:19

Humanity is centered on choice, which is driven by "self." Animals lack this attribute; instead, they move based on reflexes and instincts. Only humans possess the complexity to make nuanced decisions using their will.

“Self” is a gift from God that grants man autonomy over his own life.

This raises the question of what would happen if the system that gives humans their capacity to choose was compromised. Referring back to our self-driving car example, what would happen if the software that controls self-driving vehicles was compromised? It is impossible to even consider the repercussions of it. Property and lives might be lost.

When Satan used deception in the Garden of Eden to seize control of man's autonomy, mankind experienced a similar takeover. Our lives seem to be controlled by a puppeteer hidden behind the curtain. Similar to how autonomous automobiles can be taken over by remote software from someone in a basement somewhere.

Death to “Self”

Man requires redemption in order to restore the "self" that the devil has taken over. Redemption is the process of regaining our stolen identity and voluntarily placing ourselves under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Giving up one's independence in order to follow the Holy Spirit is what it means to die to "self." Death and resurrection are figurative language for salvation.

Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:3-4

Jesus died our death. Jesus took on the sins of a fallen humanity, making his death on the cross a true death for us. He died as one on whom sin was laid, not as a sinner.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Death to “self” implies giving up one’s autonomy to become a servant of The Holy Spirit.

By embracing that plan of salvation, we are able to enter into Christ's accomplished work by faith, since He died our death. Baptism is the perfect example of this. We are united to Christ's death on the cross as we descend into the water; we are baptized into that death by faith. We are raised from the water, signifying a new life—that is, Christ's resurrection becomes our own resurrection.

This suggests that the life we currently live is not our own. Remember, this is all based on faith. Redemption is a spiritual practice that has tangible benefits.

Nicodemus Was rather perplexed when Jesus told him that he needed to be born again, and he challenged if a man could return to his mother's womb. Jesus stated unequivocally that a person born of flesh is flesh, and a person born of the Spirit is spirit. As a result, the life we are living is not our own. We have chosen to follow in Jesus' footsteps, and we must cede our will of "self" to the realities of this brand-new existence.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

In Christ, we live, having died in Him.

Through faith, we are able to mortify "self" inside this framework of salvation. We are given the right by law to offer our "self" as a "living sacrifice" due to our salvation. The phrase "living sacrifice" has a fascinating resonance to it, almost contradicting reason. A sacrifice is incapable of living. This is why faith is involved. These realities have bodily consequences, but they are spiritual realities. We have died in Christ and now we live in Him.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

Finally

Consecration

We must never raise that which has perished by faith. Self-mortification is an ongoing, continuous process. Every day, we humiliate "self." Every day we have to die.

S001E2 The Mind of Christ //Marvellous Arunda

Tracing and trying to make sense on the Mindset of Jesus.

Marvellous Arunda

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. The Christian faith is divided on how to deal with gender identity issues. Some churches have taken a very extreme position while others have embraced a more liberal approach in dealing with homosexuality.

There is no faith that can withstand scrutiny if there is no united front on issues that affect man. The issue of morality is center stage in any faith, right and wrong is how faith keeps its essence. Therefore, without a clear direction in the Christian faith, it will be hard to harmonize the mind of God concerning some of the social issues we are battling.

So, Can a person be born Gay?

The answer is yes! Give me a chance to explain from the scriptures.

SPIRITUAL MASTERY is a reader-supported publication. The naming of these genders specifically refers to their reproductive organs.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27

The identification and naming of genders by God is based on their reproductive organs. Consequently, God did not create a transgender or gender-fluid identity; such identities are a product of human creation.

The Hebrew word for Male is Zakar, Its root origin seems to lie in the idea of pricking, and piercing. The more general application for the Hebrew word Zakar is memory or remembrance this is definitely a derivative of the root idea of piercing ie the memory comes from the piercing. It follows without being too graphical that a male was named based on his private part.

The Hebrew word for Female is Neqeva. the root word Naqab has the idea of to pierce, perforate, or bore. Again it goes without saying that female was named fathers their private part.

The aforementioned passage from Genesis 1:27 unequivocally conveys that God created two distinct genders: male and female. What is truly captivating is the remarkable complementarity of these genders, particularly in the realm of reproduction. This holds great significance, as any humanly devised system would lack a natural working protocol, necessitating constant adjustments and modifications to ensure functionality.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. Romans 1:26-27

As a student of the Bible, you will come to understand that many of God's creation have been distorted by the devil. One notable instance can be found in Genesis 6, where angels engaged in relations with human women, resulting in the birth of extraordinary beings known as Nephilim. These Nephilim were a unique species, not originally created by God, but rather a product of Satan's manipulation and corruption of God's creation.

If a Nephilim asserts that they were born as a Nephilim, there is no way to refute their claim as it is indeed true.

The same argument can be extended to people who claim they were born gay. Satan has the ability to mutilate what God had intended for good and course it to be change in expression. The law was good but Satan used it to bind the children of Israel.

And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. 12 Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. Romans 7:10-12

In fact, in Matthew 19, Jesus discussed the topic of marriage and mentioned three distinct categories of eunuchs. One of these categories includes individuals who were born as eunuchs, meaning they lacked the reproductive organs typically associated with men. A eunuch is someone who has undergone castration, resulting in the removal of their manhood.

Jesus's statement is quite remarkable as he acknowledges that some individuals can be born without certain organs or with organs that do not function properly. This scripture serves as a clear indication that people can be born with physical defects. However, it is important to note that God did not intentionally create mankind with these defects.

How does this happen?

The psalmist clearly declares that he was conceived in iniquity.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Psalm 51:5

This scripture explores a significant revelation about the environment in which conception takes place. It acknowledges that we reside in a fallen world, where Satan continues to find ways to corrupt God's creation. Consequently, Satan can influence a child's soul or even manifest physical conditions like hermaphroditism, leading to a distorted gender identity. Understanding this possibility, it becomes crucial for us to exercise patience and empathy towards individuals grappling with their gender identity. Our goal should not be to agree with the lie of the devil, but rather to collaborate with them in reintroducing God into their lives, countering the devil's intrusion and restoring God's intended purpose.

Good News

"If you claim that you were born gay, there is good news for you: you can experience a rebirth. What may have been distorted at conception or birth can be restored through the power of God, made possible by the finished work of Christ.

Nicodemus, upon hearing this proposition, was understandably perplexed. He questioned whether a grown man could possibly return to his mother's womb and be born again. Of course, the answer is no.

To be born again signifies a restoration to the original design set forth by God. Therefore, if you identify as gay, salvation can mend any damage through the Spirit of God, eliminating any interference from the depths of Hell”

There is Hope in Salvation! You may have been born Gay but you were never created Gay.

Thank you for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY. It lacks the depth and comprehensive spiritual teaching on spiritual marriage and spouses. I am eager to delve into the intricacies of spirit husbands and spirit wives, also known as Incubus & Saccubus in witchcraft terminology. It is crucial for us to thoroughly examine these phenomena and explore the biblical foundations supporting the notion of spiritual marriages.

This study aims to investigate the corruption of the divine essence of marriage by evil spirits. Marriage, being a spiritual technology, is a creation of God rather than man. Its origin can be traced back to God, who conceived the idea of marriage. However, similar to other creations of God, Satan seeks to corrupt it. Consequently, Satan infuses a demonic spirit into the concept of marriage, manipulating people though this deception.

Thanks for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY! It is crucial to emphasize that not everyone you encounter daily is human. Some individuals are actually spirits who have taken possession of physical bodies. This is precisely why the devil sought to steal Moses' body, with the intention of using it to deceive and manipulate people.

Definitions

Meaning of spirit

In Hebrew, the term for spirit is "ruach," while in Greek, it is "pneuma," from which we derive words like pneumonia and pneumatic instruments. These words, “Ruach”, and “Pneuma”, simply mean breath or wind. While there is no precise term for spirit, we do have words that depict and describe its nature.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3.8

The concept of God being a spirit is often overlooked. Contrary to popular belief, God is not a physical being resembling a white man with a lengthy beard, occupying a throne somewhere like Hollywood would like you to belive. Instead, God is Spirit. It is crucial for us to comprehend the nature of spirit in order to establish a meaningful connection with God. Just as there are protocols for interacting with fellow human beings, there exists a protocol that enables us to engage with God. This protocol differs from the way we interact with one another. If we are misguided in our understanding, we may mistakenly assume that conversing with God is akin to conversing with humans. However, conversing with God entails communicating with Spirit. To effectively communicate with a spirit, we must be taught the appropriate protocols. This is why witches often possess a greater understanding of spiritual matters than Christians. Witches may spend hours chanting, which may appear foolish to some, but in reality, they are engaging with the spirit realm. On the other hand, Christians may grow weary after a short period of worship because they are unaware that part of the protocol for communicating with spirits involves singing spiritual songs. Therefore, it is essential to familiarize ourselves with the protocols required to communicate with God who is Spirit.

The spiritual definition of marriage differs from its legal counterpart in the courtroom. Additionally, the social understanding of marriage may also deviate from its true essence. Over time, policies have evolved, leading to a redefinition of marriage. However, it is important to note that just because marriage is redefined in America does not imply that God has altered its meaning. God, being the originator of marriage, remains unchanged in His understanding of this sacred union.

Marriage is a sacred union that unites two individuals into a single entity. Although this profound concept may not be explicitly emphasized in the physical courtroom, it holds immense spiritual significance.

Spiritually the marriage covenant is always consummated through a sacred act of sex, signifying its sealing. This is why spiritual divorce only occurs when one party has engaged in infidelity. While there may be numerous social reasons for divorce, It is crucial to comprehend that obtaining a divorce certificate from the government does not necessarily mean that heaven has granted one as well. Many individuals may be legally divorced, yet spiritually they are married. Therefore, if you have experienced a divorce, it is essential to also seek a spiritual dissolution.

Incubus and Succubus

The Latin term "Incubus" refers to lying on top, while "succubus" refers to lying underneath. Consequently, many individuals assume that when a woman encounters spirit husbands, it must be an incubus. However, it is not as straightforward as that, as there are spirits that present themselves as hermaphrodites. Additionally, there are spirits that manifest as women, solely targeting other women. So it's not necessarily that only a woman can be affected by incubus. Even men can be affected by this spirit that manifests as a male.

Subscribe now

Biblical Foundation for the Possibility of Spiritual Marriages.

Israel is married to God

Israel is married to God, who is Spirit! Let's pause for a moment and reflect on the concept of spirituality. When God proclaims Himself as Israel's husband, it is evident that this connection transcends the physical realm and resides in the spiritual realm. From the very beginning, God reveals to us that the union between spirit and humanity using the technlology of marriage is indeed possible.

Now, it is crucial to clarify that I am not insinuating that God's marriage to Israel mirrors the manipulative tactics employed by demons in human relationships. Instead, I am emphasizing the potential for such a profound marital bond to exist between immortality and mortality. This means there is a spiritual possibility for the concept of spiritual marriage and Israel's sacred union with God is a testament to this truth.

For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. Isaiah 54:5

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. Jeremiah 31:32

“Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. Jeremiah 3:14

The Hebrew term for husband is "ba'al." Does it ring a bell? Quite intriguing, isn't it? This is precisely why one of the challenges faced by Israel was related to their worship practices, specifically the worship of "Ba'al." Essentially, they were seeking another husband. The verb form of this term also denoted the act of marrying or coming together. In fact, this concept was so deeply ingrained that God Himself instructed the Israelits not to refer to Him ass ‘Ba’al’ but rather ‘Ishi’

“And it shall be, in that day,” Says the Lord, “That you will call Me ‘My Husband, (Ishi)’ And no longer call Me ‘My Master, (Ba’al)’ Hosea 2:16

We are Married to Christ

We are united with Christ in a sacred bond of marriage. Can you imagine the excitement that comes with such a profound connection? We are not just betrothed to Christ; we are His beloved brides. Yes, even as a man, I am honored to be considered a bride of Christ.

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelations 21:2

As a church, we are united with Christ in a sacred bond of marriage. This profound connection offers us, as humanity, the opportunity to establish a spiritual relationship akin to that of a husband and wife. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that demons, in their misguided actions, overstep boundaries. God does not engage with us in the same manner as these malevolent beings. The intimacy we experience with God is pure and untainted, far removed from any distorted notions exemplified by demonic spirits. Our intimacy with God is best exemplified through worship, as it serves as a profound expression of our connection with Him.

One with the spirit of God

Paul instructs us and advises against associating ourselves with Harlots. When we have sex with harlots, we unknowingly become connected to the evil spirits that reside within them. It is crucial to understand that engaging in such practices is not spiritually smart. Cheating, in particular, is an act of foolishness. It involves squandering our divine endowments and offering them to these demonic spirits.

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1Corinthians 6:15-17

The union between the spirit of God and man is likened to the union between man and woman in marriage. Why would Jesus do this if it was not? This is not figurative. This is practical.

Share

Sons of God with men

Sons of God is an expression in the Bible that is designated to angels or members of heavenly hosts who are spirits.

Now; there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the; Lord, and; Satan also came among them. Job 1:6

When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38:7

The sons of God, took humans for wives. This is in Genesis 6 and produced children with them. Can you see that possibility?

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive[a] with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:1-4

In Genesis 6, angels sought after men, while in Genesis 19, men sought after angels. Perhaps you recall the account of the two angels who visited Sarah and later went down to Sodom to meet Lot. Upon their arrival at Lot's house, an unsettling incident occurred. The people of Sodom approached and inquired about the whereabouts of these visitors, as they harbored intentions of engaging in sexual relations with these angels. It is astonishing to note that some individuals actively seek encounters with supernatural beings, even resorting to demonic altars where they are promised access to entities like Icabus or Succubus.

Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. Genesis 19:1

Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house.5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” Genesis 19:4

Why do These Spirits Attack

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Dream Attack

Dreams serve as valid grounds for spiritual interactions. Throughout the Bible, numerous significant events have unfolded within the realm of dreams, leaving a lasting impact. One such example can be found in the story of Abraham's covenant with God, as depicted in Genesis 15. In this biblical account, Abraham experiences a profound slumber, during which he receives divine instructions. He is commanded by God to procure a specific animal for sacrifice, ultimately leading to the establishment of a covenant between him and God. This narrative highlights the potential for dreams to serve as a conduit for sealing sacred agreements.

Do you recall the remarkable encounter Solomon had in his dream? It was a momentous occasion when he offered a thousand cattle as sacrifices, and as he slept, God Himself appeared before him. In this divine encounter, God posed a question: "What do you desire?" Yes, within the realm of the dream, Solomon was asked by God what he truly needed. He responded, "I seek wisdom." Astonishingly, God granted him not only wisdom but also bestowed upon him immeasurable riches. When Solomon awoke, his world had transformed.

This story serves as a powerful reminder of the significance of dreams. They hold immense importance and possess the potential to alter the course of our lives. When we encounter profound experiences within the realm of dreams, it is crucial to discern their true nature. We must discern whether to pray against or pray for these encounters. For you see, encounters with spirits in the dream realm are as real as any waking experience. We cannot dismiss them as mere figments of our imagination. Dreams have the power to seal covenants, as exemplified by the story of Solomon.

Did you experienced bedwetting during your youth? Picture yourself sound asleep, and within your dream, you find yourself heading to the bathroom to relieve yourself. In your dream, you successfully release yourself without any issues. However, upon awakening, you come to the realization that this seemingly effortless act in the dream world is, in fact, problematic in reality. The Human Soul is a highly-priced and high-demand merchandise.

The desire for souls has sparked an intriguing fascination and an insatiable thirst within the spiritual realm for human blood. Anyone who is a student or practitioner of spirituality will inevitably encounter the necessity of blood as a tool of trade on spiritual altars. The reason human blood is such a coveted commodity is because it is the carrier of the soul of man, the essence of man.

Thanks for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY! Leviticus 17:11

In Hebrew, the term for life above is Naphes, which refers to the human soul. The scripture above can be reformulated as, “for the soul of the flesh in the blood“, That is, your soul is domiciled in your blood. This makes much sense since the blood is the only substance that is omnipresent in the whole of your body and it serves as the carrier of life. Through the Blood your soul animates your whole body, This is why blood is desperately coveted, blood is life.

What is The Soul?

In order to comprehend the nature of the soul, it is imperative to delve into the sequence of the creation of man. As outlined in the Holy Scriptures, once God had fashioned the world and all its inhabitants, He embarked upon the creation of a distinct species that would bear His image and likeness.

The first element that was created of this species, which would bear the Image and likeness of God, was its spirit. This spirit created by God is referred to as man or the human spirit, symbolizing the essence of the human species.

So God created man in His own image;… Genesis 1:27

The second element God created for the human species was the soul. While the spirit of man is the same in every individual, the soul of man is unique to each person. Therefore, within the human species, God bestowed upon each individual a distinct identifier, which we refer to as the soul. So, every person has a human spirit and a unique soul.

The soul and the spirit are separate entities, each with unique characteristics. Unlike the soul, which resides solely within the confines of a person, the spirit extends beyond the physical boundaries of an individual. This concept is exemplified in the first epistle to the Corinthians, where Paul eloquently expresses his active participation in the affairs of the Corinthian church. While he was not present physical in judging the fornicator, paul say he was present and participating in spirit.

For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed. 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, … 1 Corinthians 5:3-4

The soul is a distinctive and divine identifier that sets individuals apart within the human race. It encompasses the unique divine qualities bestowed upon each person, enabling them to fulfill their distinct assignments and purposes on Earth.

Here are some of the divine qualities inherent in individuals, residing within their souls.

Life

Birthrights

Assignment

Divine endowments

Identity

How Souls Are Traded

The concept of souls being treated as merchandise is mentioned in the book of Revelation, specifically in John's letter, Revelations 18:11-13. The traders in Babylon expressed their sorrow over the lack of demand for their goods in the market, which included both bodies and souls of individuals.

“And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. Revelations 18:11-13

There is a spiritual marketplace that specializes in the buying and selling of human souls. The devil is not a creator and cannot create the attributes in a human soul, therefore he will rely on what God has already done and prey on it.

When individuals seek the devil's assistance in acquiring wealth or fame, since he cannot create wealth, he must find souls that he can capture to steal those aspects and use them in trade. This involves capturing someone's soul, which holds the potential for financial investment, and then selling it to those in need.

Every soul possesses inherent value, as each soul carries a divine essence within. The realm of darkness recognizes this truth and will stop at nothing to hunt for and gain possession of human souls, which they can then trade within diabolic markets. In fact, many practices associated with witchcraft are specifically aimed at amassing souls. These souls serve as a source of power for demonic intentions, elevating witches and warlocks to higher positions within the spiritual realm.

Watch the comprehensive E-Series on Soul Capture and Deliverance Here

“Sold my soul” Voluntary

Human ambition is one of the biggest traps of the devil. It is crucial to remain constantly aware of what you desperately need for validation from an ambitious standpoint. When you desire something intensely, you may find yourself willing to trade anything for the relief of obtaining what you desperately yearn for.

The best example of someone who sold his own soul in the Bible is Esau. He had returned from a long day in the field and was famished. His brother Jacob had prepared a delicious lentil soup, and when Esau asked to be fed, Jacob cunningly tricked him into swearing away his birthright in exchange for a bowl of soup. Esau, in his hunger and desperation, disregarded the immense value of his birthright and foolishly sold it for a mere meal.

Essau, driven by his immediate hunger, traded his birthright for a bowl of soup. Similarly, we find ourselves making similar choices every day, prioritizing soup over birthright. We are willing to drip the content of our soul to get a paycheck just to sustain soup on our tables.

Demonic Soul Hunters

Through the dark art of soul hunting and summoning, the spiritual market can be consistently supplied with an abundant flow of souls. The realm of demons possesses a vast array of methods to capture human souls. For instance, a multitude of activities are employed to ensnare human souls including sexual immorality, blood covenants, idol worship etc.

Through sex, souls can be united and captured. This is why God insists that the only safe ground for sex is within the context of marriage, as it is approved by God.

Souls are also pursued within the realm of dreams. Through the utilization of diabolical technology, a spiritual entity can infiltrate our very essence by traversing the gates of our subconscious.

Thanks for reading SPIRITUAL MASTERY!
